Acne seems to be a malady that millions have experienced at one time or another. However, the only two topical products you really need to combat the problem of acne are a gentle nonabrasive cleanser and an oil- free moisturizer that does not clog your pores. Ignore acne skin care tips that recommend highly expensive products and instead focus on keeping your skin clean and hydrated.
Acne skin care tips that warn not to squeeze pimples or touch them too often should be taken seriously. When you squeeze a pimple you increase the chance of it leaving an unsightly scar and you contaminate it with bacteria from your fingers. Keep your fingers away from your face whenever possible, and when you do touch it make sure your hands are clean first.
Some acne skin care tips suggest that it isn’t a good idea to wear make-up to cover your pimples because it will clog your pores. While there is some truth to this advice there are exceptions. You will not exacerbate your acne problem if you stick to using makeup that is made of natural minerals.
Let’s face it, if you eat stuff thats bad for you, your skin is going to look horrible. The most important acne skin care tip is to be careful of what exactly you are eating. If you want your face to look good, be careful of what you eat. Eat lots of antioxidat rich stuff like vegetables and fruits, and consume plenty of water.
There are a number of effective ways to reduce acne breakouts. One is to quit smoking and to refrain from using illegal drugs. Another is to make modifications in your diet by cutting back on foods loaded with sugar and fats in particular.
